Default Thinking about getting 1/8 buggy, which to get

I'm currently running Losi 3.0 truggy, but think I want a buggy. Local TRAVK supports tekno, Losi, mugen, and serpent. I have the chance to buy a tekno 4.3 and newer serpent but not sure which way to go?? Advice?

I would go Tekno all the way. I've owned three of their kits since I've been in the hobby and I've loved each one. The only other car I liked more was a mugen mbx6t Eco but parts were expensive and not many places carried spares.

What kind of track layout and size are you running on ?

The reason why is because on a tight techinal outdoor track layout the Tekno are just better and on bigger tracks more open get rough kind of layouts the HB, Mugen, Associated, Agama with the wider chassis, work better on them you can tune to make them work on tight techinal smaller tracks though .

Would you have a pic of your track ? ]

Since its indoor I'm thinking its tight and not to big of a track so the Tekno would work better out of the box.

There are quite a few small changes between the .3 and .4. You could ad the wide rear hanger
and narrow arms but until you get good enougb to not crash every lap the Teknos durability
will serve you well.

You can check out the changes on Teknos website.

Just dont buy someones beater.
