Per the manual;

"Main charging lead
a. Connect to the main charge leads of your battery using the appropriate connector type. Visit your local hobby dealer for assistance if
the plug on your battery and charger do not match.
i. WARNING: Never try to force connectors together.
3. 2s-3s JST-XH Balance ports
a. Connected your LiPo balance plug to the appropriate port to enable LiPo balance charging.
i. If your battery has a different connector, do not try to modify your connector or the charger. Visit your local hobby dealer and
purchase a Radient Primal/Ascend Universal Balance Adapter (RDNA0003) for use with your balance plug"

I found this, But when I tried to set it up, just like charging the battery it said voltage error, per the manual it says run the battery down and try again. perhaps this is the storage feature

You need a balance board for that to work. Google it and you'll see what it looks like..

Balance board? I connect both deans connectors from battery to charger then I plug the micro plug on the battery to the front of the charger. I feel like an idiot over charging batteries but i know when I first checked the volts it was over 10, both cells were 5.2 somthing

If that's true then you need to get a replacement charger because if it is misreading the voltage and over charging the lipo then it can lead to, malfunctions, to put it lightly. I'd take it to your local hobby shop and see if they will test it out for you.

On that specific charger it's Balance Board is built into the charger itself. But it only has a 2s and 3s port on the front.

Looking at the specs on that charger it seems to be a basic easy to use unit. Pretty much idiot proof and with safe start and safe peak technology.

It seems you have charged your battery correctly using the built in balance jack in the front of it. Just make sure you are inputting the correct info with the battery capacity at 5000ma. It will select the correct charge rate from there.

And yes it has a store mode feature.

Sadly it can only charge the pack to storage voltage but can't discharge. Total ripoff.
Leaving the packs fully charged will reduce their lifespan, especially at higher temperatures, I'd recommend using the packs for a few minutes to lower the voltage.
Also if one pack was really charged to 10V that can be quite dangerous, I wouldn't risk running that charger anymore. Take it back to the shop and replace it for some other type that can discharge as well.
