Was wanting to know a good reliable servo to use with my RC8T3E this is my first 1/8 scale just want to get it right. I was looking at a Savox 2274. Also what gearing would you suggest on 4s with a castle 2200kv.

I run hitech 7955 in mine w/ no problems. Only 1 season on them so far so next year will be the true durability/longevity test.

I run the Airtronics/Sanwa 861 servo. It has .09 speed at 7,4v and 350oz torque. As far as gearing I would start with 16 and go from there depending on motor temp. I run a 17 with the Hobbywing 2250 and am under 150 degrees after a 10 min main.

I run a Savox SB-2273SG in my RC8T3e and a Savox SB-2274SG in my RC8B3e. I prefer the extra torque in the truggy. They also have some awesome Ryan Cavalieri signature editions available on AMain.com.
