Last I heard from a AE person was about one month after the dirt version.

Even though it's the same thing, just with different option parts, I'm looking forward to seeing the coverage from EOS this weekend.

Me too... first real test with it on carpet. They have always worked on dirt so this will be the true test...

Never. Just like a front wing on a buggy.... never.

Sorry in advance if this has been asked / answered previously..

I will be running 17.5, I believe that a 81T spur is available that fits the the centre diff. So for the correct gearing with 17.5 I would need a 33 /34T pinion.. Will this be possible with a 81T spur gear on this car? Or is there a smaller spur gear that can be used with the center gear diff?

AE will offer a 78T spur for the center diff as well

I've pre-orderd the slipper kit and rear center driveshaft for 17.5 racing where i'll be able to get be gear ratios right. 72/32 is my preference on our larger outdoor tracks here in Australia. Less rotating mass as well as taking a bit of wheight out of the buggy

In Aus as well, where about have you pre-ordered the buggy from, and the extra pieces you mentioned above?

There's obviously still some setup work to do on the carpet car. Didn't make the A-main at EOS. But beings that this race is at Xray's Hudy Arena, and there are 6 Xray's in the A, you can assume they played their advantage in 4wd.

I think that's more a numbers game. AE only put 2x cars in the 2wd A-main (xray & yokomo = 3). This tells me that they just aren't sending as many rug experts to the races.
