There was some discussion about that on the JConcepts FB page earlier. It's not an illusion. Cav is running a ton of toe out. I have heard some guys saying the control tires at the Reedy race lack grip up front, and have a lot of rear grip. They are having to do some out of the box setups to have enough steering.

I thought it was odd that tire was chosen vs. the Electron.

I've run the transistor up front on my cars at OCRC and they lack steering. The positron in the rear is very stable and locked in. This combination makes for an easy to drive car that doesn't rotate and severely lacks steering entry, assuming you are using a relatively standard setup similar to those posted on the AE website.

A more standard setup at OCRC, which many of the locals use, would be to use an electron up front with the positron in the rear.

Cheaper to share hubs with the B6 would be my thought. Does leave the door
open for the BMI inserts in aluminum hubs though. Heard AE is working on there
own version of the hubs with the offest built in and there own 67mm bones.

Hubs aren't the same as the B6. Offset is different I believe.

Vertical ball studs in a plastic hub require a lot of thread engagement. With large bearings to capture the cva pin, this is not possible.

They should just raise the price $50 and include the Kashima shock bodies and long shock towers.

That's certainly a good reason. I'm guessing it's going to turn out like most of AE's cars. Maybe a few less available adjustments but nobody misses them, because the stock positions are the right ones.

am I wrong or does it look like the rear body mount was dremeled off? Curious if they should have just made none at all?

Dremeled off but needed to keep the body from being pushed down further. Also the antenna holder of the servo CF plate is being cut off, especially if you run the antenna-less receivers.

Keeps the body from affecting chassis flex as much, but holds it up in case of a crash.

Not everyone wants or needs them. I wouldn't want to spend an extra $50 for them.

More so that driver prefer the cleaner look and convenience of not having body posts.

The CF servo/ antenna mount was specifically designed to make it easy to dremel off the antenna mount and have it look OEM after its dremeled.
