The used buggy I got had the ears cut off of the top servo plate where your supposed to mount the antenna mount on cut off, anyone have any innovative ways to make a mount, would like to keep it under the body and out of the way as much as possible. on my B6.1D I shoe goo'd the tube along the side, but no room in this one.

I just wrapped my antenna wire around the thumb mount screw that holds down the battery

Maybe try shoegoo'ing the antenna tube to the back of your servo in a vertical position. Or gluing a piece of fuel tubing to the back of the servo that the antenna tube can then mount into.
RogerM and Braxamus like this.

And probably a real stupid question, but does the B64 use the same tires as the B6 and 6.1's
There are other videos but this is a good one.

What is the major difference in running a 78 spur that the kit comes with over running a 81 ? one of the guys at my track said he like the 81 better but I don't understand the major difference. Is it just feel and how you like to drive?

Aside from the motor position, not much. The motor you use can determine if you need more gearing. This is nothing new. its the same in 2wd.

Right I know it's nothing new, was just wondering if it is just a driver preference, or if there was some advantage in using one over the other.

Rule of thumb..... bigger spur more top end/ smaller pinion more torque and vice versa // guys correct me if Im wrong but I learned early on that theory. Not quite sure how that relates to models which don't use a 1 to 1 final drive ratio

smaller pinion or larger spur = more acceleration with less top end
larger pinion or smaller spur = less acceleration with more top end.

I finally put on the v2 steering arms, and I cannot believe that the holes are almost identical to the stock ones I got with my b64. The ball stud hole was perhaps a half a millimeter off from stock. It makes me wonder how significant a difference this will make. I suspect that the biggest difference is the rack, which I put on a month ago.

Loving my new B64. Managed to hit a cement pillar within my first 10 laps and shatter the carbon fiber front shock tower. Lucky for me the shop owner had replacemts in stock, ouch $23 a pop, but I was up and running turning out 18 second lap times. Going back tomorrow to do some tuning. All in all, killer car/kit. Looking at buying the B6.1 new for some 2wd action!!!!

I'll have to get some numbers together for what I adjusted from stock to run on carpet but went from 18 second lap times to 16.5 today, best lap was 16.3. Huge difference and just adjusted camber and shocks to lower my CG. Would have done more adjusting to see if I could squeeze some faster laps in but was out of time and batteries. Thinking I could get a 16 easy with a bit more tweaking.
