Just a heads up, I bought the asc1370 servo horn as suggested in the thread & it doest fit 100% to give full steering lock. I have my savox 1258 with no spacers so its as far back as possible but It hits the steering post so I had to shave the back of it on a angle a couple of mm's. Before shaving it i thought i had full lock but realized it was hitting the post & actually making my servo flex in the mount..

Going to finally finish the build tomorrow, I haven't been in a rush since I haven't really had or will have time to go to the track. The people at the place I'm racing at are all suprised that there is another associated, there's tons of losi cars.

Hey guys. Looking to take the plunge on a B64 and Im reading the thread about servo horns. Does anybody use the associated clamping horn? If not is there a reason not to.

Coming from a Yokomo and thought Id give an Associated a go after being reccomended. Ive been told its easier to drive on high grip astro. I have read that the arms and possibly the gear boxes are good to have and build it with the aluminium streering rack and servo horn. Anybody breaking anything else?

Using the Reedy RT1508 servo with the ASC1370 horn. The Savox must have a more forward dimension - after mounting everything up, I'm a solid 4.5mm-5.0mm between the closet part of the horn and the steering post.
Reiterating that the Reedy RT1508 / ASC1370 is a working combination.
