batteries in series or parralel
hi i was just wondering if i could get some expert advise about connecting 2 seperate batteries together in paralel.
so the two packs are individually made in series and then connected together in paralel.
if the 2 packs individually have a volts of 14.4 (lipos) and an individual mah of say 4000 when i connect them together in paralel would this be the outcome the two batteries would be combined with 14.4 volts (no change) and the mah would be added up to be 8000 mah causing them to run longer.
correct me if im wrong.
if i did the samething but connect them in series the volts would be added =28.8 volts (too much for any esc) and the mah would remain at 4000 mah.
