Default AE ever making a racing comeback to 4x4 SCT?

With AE current 1/8 RC8B3E looking like a platform that other companies would use to make 4x4 SCTs, anyone heard any rumors of them making a comeback to 4x4 SCT?

I haven't heard anything. Unfortunately, I think that class is pretty much dead.

shame. the RC8B3E if they did it like other platforms could be a real quick conversion to based on the diffs I see with my current line up.

Out here I know guys that are big AE but only option for them is the ProSCs. we have a pretty active 4x4 SCT class here as well.

Be nice to see some AE versus Losi rivalry still too there

Body mounts and bumpers from a sc8e are still available . All you need is a rc8b3e and those 4 bits and you could be the first to run them ...

I thought the sc10 4x4 was great for indoor but almost useless for outdoor. Mine's been in a storage bin going on 3 years....nobody wants it

Short course help put Rc back on the map it got me back into racing. With the popularity of Ebuggy espically etruggy is starting to pick up. I highly doubt 4x4 short course will make a strong comeback.

4x4 SCT is popular at the club level in the mid-Atlantic. I see it both on indoor clay and outdoor 1/10 tracks. The TLR team guys are running them quite successfully. I gather that TLR and Tekno are selling a lot of them, at least from what I see.

Here in PA outdoor at least it's been down a lot turnout wise on that class . Indoor though the class was consistent .

I'm just not sure if AE sees any value in investing in the 4x4 SCT class. They jumped in when the class was "hot" with a truck that honestly was a bit of a flop. IF the class was still as "hot" as it was then, I'm sure they would have put something out by now. But honestly, the class is pretty dead OVERALL, I wouldn't invest any money in it if I were AE.

yeah, well, lets hope against hope lol. Hmm, seeing some of the vehicles out there sharing parts I'll run something by a buddy of mine who is an AE fan, maybe some stuff from some different vehicles with a shock tower change or two could be used to make an AE vehicle of sorts.

if they would have just scaled down the Sc8 it would have been a hit. I'm guessing they fired the Engineer that designed it.
