i found some setups here using those motors: Team Xray XT2 Setup Sheets

13.5 = 81/30
8.5 = 81/21

if you want to use that 75 tooth just do the math and figure out which pinions will get you the same gear ratios. of course this is a ballpark #.

What is with the ball joints? my early hobbyking models held better. With my front ball joints I couldnt even use the tool to turn the turnbuckles without them coming off.

How do we find ball joints that will hold?

The XB2/XT2 have the same internal gear ratio as the B6 so you can use this chart to figure out your FDR

Does anyone cut the outer staggers off Schumacher stagger fronts? Why would you put tape around the outside edge of the tire??

Yes. To stiffen the sidewall. Super glue works better.

Don't forget the tires are much bigger in ST. You may want 1-2 teeth smaller.

I'm saying, if you find someone using the same turn motor but a different size spur, you can use the chart to find a ratio close to that with the spur you want to use.

It helps greatly on assembly to grease/ or chapstick the threads while screwing on the ballcups.

When I am going down the straight I am having to wait a long time to get traction, ie it wants to spin to one of the sides. I am currently running 3k in the diff. Whats the best next step to fix this up? (besides going to dirt diff)
Thks
