Smile 2wd buggy Conversions

I have seen so many new 2wd buggys coming out that have crazy transmissions and new weird features. I want to start a conversation on whether these changes make a difference or not feel free to post pictures of your rides

The approach of yokomo, xray, and now associated is what I'm guessing to be the new approach.

Cars that you can buy that come out of the box ready for a track condition, but that share parts, seem the norm.

The Kyosho 6.6 tries to do it all in one box. Will it be good for all situations or not so much?

TLR's approach of an expensive conversion will likely not work well in the market.

By the way, I think the 22 3.0 is an awesome car with or without the laydown. I just think that it's a timing thing.

3 months ago people would pay $200 for a wwhd tranny for the b5, but now they can buy a b6d and a spend a little extra for the laydown.

The TLR conversion is less than the wwhd, has a full chassis and hubs. 3 months ago, it was a better deal than a b5 and a wwhd.

I have a Yokomo YZ-2 Gearbox in my B5m. The Associated topshaft, Bearings, and Gear diff fit right in. You need a few shims for the diff and make a connector plate to connect teh shock tower to the trans case
