The spur and pinion is sealed pretty good...
But you might find the steering might get gritty with the sand..
I haven't had an issue with it.

Side note..
DInball has Atomic Ball diffs for $20.00 and steel cvds
I got mine yesterday and put them in and must say my confidence in the Vendetta are much better now.

Now, I wonder if Yokomo and LRP will still bring out their versions. If so, then that would probably stuff things up for Duratrax.

I got the LRP Shark 18 bought it in Austria. Real nice car ran it many time chasing the dogs in the house. Finally broke a drive axle
