Default Turnigy Trackstar 120a Gen 1

I have searched this and haven't found an answer.
I have a Turnigy Trackstar 120a esc that works great but I recently changed my controller setting to 70/30 to see how it feels. I have heard that it gives a better throttle feel.
I have the Futaba 4pks with the R614FS reciever.
My problem is when I try to re-calibrate it in the 70/30 setting. I have to turn my brake epa way down (30 or so) before it will calibrate. When I turn it down it calibrates just fine.
Also when I switch it back to 50/50 I can turn the brake epa back up to 100 and calibrate it.

Just wondering if any of you have experienced this.

I assume you are referring to digital middle point in the radio and not the physical location of the trigger. If this is the case then it won't work. Most ESC will tell you that you need to set it to 50/50 or it won't calibrate.
This is nothing you are doing wrong. It is just the way the ESC's work.
