Just picked one up yesterday. Had an original 30 years ago, regretted selling it. Now I am complete again, lol. We're looking to start a vintage class and are thinking of spec-ing 13.5 and blinky. We have 3 new Optimas and one original already. Should be a blast

A few guys on another forum have. One guy is even running his pretty hard.

Mine is waiting for me to finish my 8ight E 3.0 before I crack into it. Going to run it alongside my original that I bought new. Once it's put together I'll put up pictures of the build.

Mine has been at the LHS since monday. Unfortunately, I can't pick it up for another week.

There! Are you happy? Pretty solid build other than the shocks. I've got one shock that just won't stop leaking. Gaskets are a pain to install but the one in that corner that is leaking is intact. So I might have a cut O-ring. No spares yet for them so shelfer until I can get some O-rings. I still have a few gaskets from the spares pack but not going to sacrifice them just yet.

Just an FYI Jason Snyder did a great review on Youtube, it looks pretty peppy with just a 17.5 in it.

Painted up the body finally, but rushed it. Here it is anyway:

Pretty much stock, except for the 2.2 wheels and Proline Bar Code tires, also added the side rail guard things.

I finished building mine as well save the body. One of my rear shocks leakes like a sieve... Argh!

Yes, it will fit. Used a full size 2s hardcase from Vant (6500) and a shorty hard case. It's tight, but it fits.

Kyosho 2.2 rear wheels for the Re released scorpion. You can also use Helion Criterion wheels front and rear. I hate dish wheels, especially on this car.
