With the strong emergence of the electric 1/8 market, we have decided to
make a dedicated Buggy, rather than just a conversion of the established
Nitro car. The A215E has been developed throughout the year in conjunction
with our drivers to produce the best possible performance and ease of use
kit possible. Using the already proven suspension geometry of the A215, the
E version has been optimized for the weight distribution of the electric
equipment and the torque characteristics of the motors to ensure the best
possible performance.

Using the inherent strength and quality already present in the A215, the
A215E has has been tweaked in subtle, yet essential ways to maximize the
performance of the electric power train and ensure the driver gets the best
results.

Tested and proven at big races throughout 2015, the A215E is ready….more details very soon.

That is going to be my second RC buggy..

The A215 with electric conversion performs very well here in the Netherlands and the new electric version seems to be about the same. Also love the new body that comes with it

I run the Hobbywing SCT Pro in mine, with a 1950 Tekin T8i, geared 19/43.

1900-2100 will be what you need. Darren runs an RX8 with 2050 Tekin T8. Hunter Kinsey runs the RX8 with the same 1950 T8i but geared 20/43.

I'm not sure what Darren's car is geared at, pinion wise.

Thanks BillyT
I have to check on the tekin stuff. Have anyone tried REDS electric motors for 1/8 buggy?
It will be easier for me to get their system because I haven't found any shops in Sweden for Tekin.

One of the guys at our track runs the REDS motor with an RX8 and likes it really well.

I run a REDS 2100 with a Hobbywing XR8 in my MP9E and it's great. It would be just as awesome in a A215E.
