Hey Billy do u run the 1950i on big out door tracks to?
#17
Yes. Gives up a little bit on the straight, but really that has more to do with gearing than the size of the motor, but yeah, even outside.
Elliot Boots runs this same motor in his e-buggy, too, on every track.

This vid, Hunter Kinsey also runs the same motor in his, and this track is pretty big. This was a converted nitro car, btw. But the same gearing.

That does look really smooth. What was the deciding factor in running that motor vs a 1900 or 2050?

We run the 1950 T8i just to get a smaller initial hit. Even still, the T8i hits a lot harder than a nitro car, but it is better than say a 42mm 2050.
It really comes down to driver preference and what kind of power delivery you like.
If I could get a 2050 that was smooth on bottom like the small 1950, I would. 1900 and lower lacks a little bit of rpm for the way this car is geared, but I'll give up a little on the straight to get a better over all driving car, for my tastes.
I was also trying to build the car as light as possible, with the smaller batteries and smaller motor. It comes in exactly the same as my nitro car, which makes sharing setups a lot easier.
MSRP for this car is set at $735, so the street price will be about the same as the nitro car, 499-520, if I had to guess.

What is the gearing in A215E? Same as the nitro?
Can you change the whole front for example with the nitro version? I wondering because it would be easier to keep spares if everything is interchangeable except the chassie.
Is the stock body thicker than the one that comes with the nitro?
BillyT what is you shock setup on A215E? Same as the nitro piston wise? Do you run the same diffoils in E vs nitro?

The only change from E to Nitro is the center diff mount, battery tray, radio tray and longer rear brace all the rest is the same parts.

I guess we are getting close to the release....
The Nemo pages have the E listed as sold out looks like they are just waiting on stock.

All the gearing is the same. All parts are interchangeable. So yes, you can
take the complete front end off nitro car and bolt to Electric car.
I don't believe there will be a conversion kit, per say, but once spares come
over you would certainly be able to put one together. Chassis, and electric
parts. You could even get away with using the nitro chassis, albeit with a
little more flex.
My setups between nitro and electric are very similar. Ive been playing with
some different pistons in nitro car, but for the most part, 40/35,
Orange/Med Springs, 8x1.3 pistons. Diffs are 20/3/5. Oils for temp, up a
little in heat, down a little in cold.

And yes, the car is now listed on the website. We are fairly confident that
stock will arrive mid February. If you are interested in a kit, please enter
your email in the appropriate spot. We are using this to gauge how many to
bring over on the first run, and wont to make sure everyone that wants
one, gets one.
