I don't reccomend hobbyking cars anymore that only they support.

With that being said they have the basher bz444 pro which is made by team c so if your lhs carries team c products you'll have the support you need. It's an all out race 4x4 buggy with your choice of brushless motors.

You can still go slow using brushless motors with the right gearing. Brushed motors are outdated and a pain to keep in optimal performing condition.

Prices are cheap, and I beleive all are stocked at tower hobbies so you can get some really nice discounts on a group buy.

there is a youtube video out there of guys racing around with these in kind of a spec class, looked cool to me, especially for the money.
