Transporting vehicles

I usually put them in my truck, drive to the track, then take them out. I've heard of people calling an uber or a lyft to get to the track, or even riding with friends.
I suppose a rubbermaid container would work, but how would it get to the track?

Take the tires off and they won't roll around. They shouldn't be on anyways, it's kills the foams.
Ya I'm being funny but also serious. I normally bring 2-3 cars. My support gear is in a box or bag, my radio box, and my cars are "loose/separate". A bigger/addtional bag or box would simply be counter productive for me, so why bother.

I feel your pain, on race night between my son and I, I am usually hauling 5 cars plus all the stuff to go along.
I've been working on designs for a few custom stackable wood boxes, but haven't gotten into the wood shop to work on them yet...my deck re-model is getting in the way.
I'll be following this thread to see what ideas everyone else has come up with.

I use the Rubbermaid Roughneck 50-qt. for my short course trucks for storing in my garage and I just stick them in my trunk when going to the track. But at the track, if pit space is tight, they take up too much space to leave lying around. But they're perfect at keeping your car clean and you can easily dump out the dirt or wash them if you want.
I use a rolling dolly to transport the boxes from the parking lot to the track, because I usually have 2-3 cars and another plastic box for all my tools -- Magna cart

Plastic totes work great, smaller boxes for the 1/10 buggies, larger still short for the 1/8's (no wheels on), and some larger boxes for the 1/10 sct's so they just drop in. Walmart has the fixins
