Default 8ight e 2.0 bodies

So Pro-line emailed me saying they discontinued the bulldog body. Are companies going to stop making 2.0 bodies? If so are there any alternatives? I know 3.0 e bodies are too narrow and I don't plan to switch to 3.0 anytime soon I just got my first ebuggy. Would I be able to pull off using a 3.0 nitro body without trimming it for an engine/fuel tank.

I'm running a JC finisher body for the 2.0 nitro on my 2.0e. It required some minor trimming around the esc area, and a spacer under the front body mount, but it fits... Snuggly over my a 5000 4s pack, but has more room with my smaller packs.
The 3.0 nitro has the same chassis dimensions/layout as the 2.0 so 3.0 nitro bodies will fit. Not sure about space for the battery, only one way to find out.
