Anyway i'm guessing after reading all the posts on here that really i should change the bearings over to TKO ceramic's and be VERY careful to run her in slowly and well.

Any further tips ??

What's the bearing size of the OZ Vspec (Inner and outer diameter?? What ceramic bearing size should you buy to replace the old one?

P3 plug. That's it. Either OS or JP.

Pipes: 2050, 2060, JP-2, JP-3, 086, 053 take your pick they all seem to work.

I think they might have fixed that bearing problem...

Me and my Buddy both ordered 2 V-Specs directly from Great Planes and none of them have bearing problems with over 4 gallons on each of them...

Just breaking in my new v-spec last week. I have 5 tanks through it so far with zero problems. Bought it a few weeks ago, but the weather has been to cold to finish the break-in on it. Running a JP-3 pipe with it, and have started leaning it out just a little to try and get some heat into it at the low RPM stuff, and just as part of the normal break-in process...Ended up wrapping the head in tinfoil to help hold the heat in.
I ran RB stuff for a while, so I'm anxious to see how the V-Spec stacks up on the track. I have the TKO bearings to put in it, but haven't done it yet, as I also heard that OS changed bearing suppliers, and the bearings are supposed to be "reliable" now.
I had some P6 plugs already, along with some P3 plugs, and with the head off, I can't see or feel any difference in the way the two fit in the button. So, I'm not sure why it's been said that only the P3 plug will work...??? Any further input on that??

Thanks, Brad

P6, P7 will both fit the V-Spec also, but the best plug for the engine is the P3, i don't really understand why as most companies and magazines tell you to run a cold plug with big block engines...?

Default tuning?

Anyone got tips for tuning the VZ-B?

I'm running mine at pretty much sea-level in the tropics.

How many turns out from fully in for each of the needles?

Any help would be much appreciated. Philippine Buggy Nationals coming up and I'm really anxious to put in at least a decent showing.
