It is a relatively smaller market at this point. A lot of drivers of the car are also "Team" drivers and it is a conflict to produce parts and compete with your own sponsor. Another reason is the cars are pretty well designed already and a lot of option parts are available at the time of release.

and to add to this, when you build a true competition ready car, it shouldn't need a ton like the AE/TLR cars everyone is accustomed to. i think that's also why there is much less feedback on the forums because the car is well built, and fast (and FB is becoming popular). Ppl are sort of thrown off that Serpent built a car that doesn't need all the hop-ups and i think that turns ppl away.. ironically.

Billy's philosophy is unique , include all the tuning parts with the kit unlike AE/TLR.

I have no doubt this will be a great buggy, just going to wait to see how they do on the track first compared to mine.

My Serpent SRX2 MM is dialed.

This is just my opinion but since it is a 6-8 week boat ride from where things are made today and that Serpent hasn't posted any detailed pictures of this "planned" buggy I believe that the final product is still unknown. Yeah you can buy wheels that's good I guess. I think people who want this buggy will have to buy it sight unseen. Ball dif, gear dif, saddle packs, shorty, who knows. I don't think Serpent knows because this close to release you would think they have some idea as to post pictures of what you are preordering.

i don't think serpent cares much about pre-release PR. When the car is available for order then they'll release the details. On the FB page they've stated gear diffs and saddles as standard with the option to run a shorty or upgrade (downgrade?) to ball diffs.
