I think the graphite chassis and stock towers are really a waste of money.. sure it does look good but it will not aid the average racer, look at Mark P he runs the stock chassis..that has got to say something

Default Chassis material

I have just been told today by my LHS that all of the Team Kyosho drivers are either already running the graphite chassies or are converting to them, this is per Kysho America. Is someone blowing a lot of hot air at my LHS? Just wondering.

Cody King was running a stone-stock ZX-5 at SoCal...I think they're blowing hot air.

the standard chassis is graphite composite.. if kyosho thought that they would have an advantage in running a graphite plate chassis, they would not have tooled up to manufacture a composite due to the extremely high cost involved... I think the best person to confirm this would be Mark P......

I actually liked the carbon fiber chassis better because I could feel what the car was doing better. It felt alot more responsive and I liked that.

like the U.S team the UK team also run the stock chassis. We find it give's the car a little flex and make it safer to drive, so more consistent over the race
