Thanks! I'll give that manual a look to see what things like springs, etc are stock. I'll probably still hold on my order till the kit comes in. Will see about taking pics of the build if the camera wants to cooperate.

I just put the DTM rear aluminum camber mount and composite brace on my YZ4's. Had to trim the rear gearbox tab of, however the idea behind this transferring weight/force directly to the rear hanger instead of through the gear box makes total sense. MIBOSPORT has had all the new DTM parts in stock for a week.

Everyone is using the YZ-4 sway bar kits, or if you can find them the ones from the BD7/BD8 work as well.

hey guys, is there a setup that appears to be the hot ticket for loose bumpy dirt condtions? Tires would be something like a holeshot up to a goosebump. Gonna run the DTMs basically other than say springs as is initially (no tranny switch) but figure getting a more dirt oriented setup would be good to start for oils, linkage locations, etc.

Cain - check that setup link in the PM I sent you a couple days ago - I really think it will be a good starting point for you regardless of the dirt surface. Give it a try and see what happens. Good luck man!

Hello sir....the shocks on the front of the DT version can work but you can't run a slipper swtup because the motor sits so far back and there is no room for the shock package. There was a guy that tried it on his dt with an eliminator setup and it worked. The front shock setup is more aimed at the original, CA, and DTM versions with the laydown motor case.

Please post a pic.

Are you removing the shock tower spacer that pushes the Shock Tower assembly back for rear shock mounting? If not that might be your issue.

The part number is Z2-018M

This is what it should look like if installed properly. NOTICE the tower mounts directly with no spacer.

From the rear the spacer's mount should be visible.

This is the Shock Tower Spacer you need to remove.

No prob.

It's insane how my brain works. i literally have snapshots of millions of things I've read in my brain and the moment I read your post these images immediately populated in my brain.
And my wife wonders why I can't retain simple every day things she asks me to remember. I tell her between all my life experiences, hobbies and all the functions and commands of most design softwares in my immediate memory, my filing cabinet is FULL!!! LOL

Glad I could help.
