Thumbs up

Ah, finally the manual: nice!

I see the last page with the hopups also has spring kits: if the 3-packs are cheap I may grab them too - since they'll likely fit other shocks. For me it will be the hingepin brace hopups first... then the hubs only if I keep smashing them.

I also want to see if the rims are sturdy enough for track practice days: because the 4-packs of rims are half the price of sets on Amain (with the 12mm hex they may be direct swaps on cars like the 22-4 and D413?)

The car comes with a gear diff: the ball diff is an hopup part. Yes I know the transmission photos on HK show the ball diff

This cars gear diff wont work with the 22-4 because it use a finer tooth belt than the 22-4 does.

I looked at the new titanium options that they are offering I will say that the suspention blocks will be a nice addition to strengthen up the car. The titanium shock towers on the other hand I would be afraid that they will been rather easily I have dealt with low grade titanium before and it's always ends up bending. so I would say go with the carbon fiber towers versus the titanium.

as far as the other titanium option parts I'm going to hold off before upgrading, i have plastic spares on almost every part. I will see what breaks before upgrading to the titanium if i feel the part breaking is a weakness.

Well I think it is still too early to tell on the 222. The first buyers have only had it a week. The Vandal has known issues, but is still a decent buggy, not great but decent.

Is there a reason you are only selecting buggies from HobbyKing or are you open to other brands?

Oh and also what is your definition of pure fun? Bashing? Speed runs? Modifiying? What terrain are you mostly going to run on as well?
