Just drill a 2.5mm hole in the arm and screw in a ball end.
The track was slick and a little dusty in the video from Wed because they redid the track on Monday & Tuesday. The same setup worked good. The only thing I changed was went to the outer shock mounting holes on the arms to stiffen it up once the track grooved up. |

Its interesting how everyone that drives this car near me comes on the stand with this confused face. Then they comment, "its smooth and ridiculously easy to drive."
I can not wait to push this car to its limits at JConcepts. Most people complain about parts availability but so far I have broke nothing (knock on wood). Might need to stock up on parts when people start seeing this car in action and start buying them. This might be the new hot 4wd soon that everyone wants to get. |
the cars been pretty durable here,i have managed to break a couple front hubs and spindle under the right conditions lol.i broke a front arm but it was a wide open down the straight head on with a turn marshall so it was expected that something would break.
|
One trick I have done is replace the front arm spacer with a shock o-ring. That way when I tag a PVC pipe, the arm can give 1.5mm. That helps save the arm and caster block from breaking during a hard hit. Other then some bent hinge pins, nothing has broke for me since.
