Default Acquired a Brand New RC10T2 #7038

For those who appreciate some of the best stadium trucks built... here is my brand new RC10T2 Team Truck I just acquired. I added Lunsford Titanium Turnbuckles, RPM ball cups, and Gold Shock Shafts.

I'm also looking for a couple T2 gear covers if anyone has some

Enjoy.

PS - This truck will not be ran.

Put my new Midnight in it.

Sitting next to my RC10T...

Looks nice,

Tough you're killing me with the trips down memory lane. The mind ain't what it used to be. LOL.

Gear covers? Those might be a little hard to come by, or if ya do, they might not be cheap.

Quick search of the flea bay, I found two of the old "NIP" RPM Hydra drive B2 gear covers. Both in black and one was 50.00 and the other was 29.99. Not cheap, but I couldn't remember what all they changed on the motor plates from the RC10, B2/T2, B3/T3, B4/T4.

Still love that truck though.

Thank you.

Did the T2/B2 share the same transmission? I know the motor plates were different.

The gear cover is #9247, $1.50 on RC10.com. The B2/T2 share the same 2.40 transmission. Great looking truck, BTW.

Thank you! The T2 has a 2.6 transmission I believe.

The T2 is a 2.60 transmission. It's tranny case, motor plate and gear cover are specific to the T2.

This was my fav because it was my first AE kit. I still have have it along with all brand new parts and chassis. I also still have the all blue chassis from bad boyz!

I wish AE would go back to teflon impregnated hardcoat (PTFE) on the shock bodies. Those shock bodies never wore out.

Very cool. My first stadium truck was a used HPI RS4 MT (belt 4wd). My second was a T3. I'd love to find either of those NIB and build up the kit. Or, find a used one and just clean it up and put it on the shelf.

i don't know if you have seen this. but it seems associated might have something up their sleeves. it could be demand for the harder to find parts. would make sense though if they start bring these parts back.

I wish something up their sleeves is true...

While you can't actually find the older cars on their site, modifiying the URL's take you to those cars.
