Default Need Some Help [ Noob Questions]

ok i just got my 1st RC Car today from tower hobbies. [RC10T4.2] and i had to order a charger/lipo with it. i got this battery to go with it http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...XEHJB&P=7#tech is the battery to much for my RC or will it be fine? my motor limit says 2s Lipo 3900kv or 3s Lipo 3300kv. please let me know, i dont want to blow up my RC Car the 1st day. thanks everyone!


Also. do i have to change my truck to lipo mode? or is it all ready in lipo mode? thanks again and sorry for all these noob questions

Nope, should be fine. Just watch your motor temps the first few runs and gear accordingly. If its cold you can go bigger pinion for more top speed, if its hot gear down. I run the same spec battery in my RC10T4.1

I absolutely LOVE the stadium truck class.

I am assuming you got RTR? If so probably yes. My associated RTR had a Reedy SC900BL and it needed to be put in lipo mode when I got it.

is it hard to do? this is my 1st RC Car so i dont want to mess anything up. i might just take it to my local bobby shop tomorrow and have them help me haha

Default Need Some Charging Help.

ok i just got my Arrma 2s Lipo 7.4V 4000mah for my truck. it came with no instructions at all. [my 1st RC Car] im wondering how many amps should i charge it at? i can either do 1,2 or 3. this is the charger i got http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDVNT&P=ML yes i know its not the best charger, i plan on upgrading in the future. any help appericated thanks

3 amp..should be at 4 amps..but the 3 will do..

It'll just take a little longer but you'll be fine. That's a good little charger.

do i have to use the balancer when charging 2s lipos? because one of the cords on the balancing plug came un-attached :/

ok its been plugged in for about 30 mins with the balance connector plugged in and now it says its balancing. is there a chance my battery came pre-charged somehow? i hope im not doing anything wrong

It is explained in the instructions, but the Reedy has to be the hardest on to set-up with following the beeps.

Default Charger Not Charging?

i have this charger http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDVNT&P=7 and a 2s 4000 mah lipo. i plug everything in put it on 3 amps and it gives me the error code [ Voltage Difference among cells is too large ( >300mV) any help thanks? btw this is my 1st time charging this battery. ran my RC today and now when i try to charge it this happens, and yes my RC car has a lipo cut off
