Video: Protek RC - Radio Case Review

Here's another tip. I just bought the foam piece and trimmed it a little so it would fit into the drawer of my pit bag. So one of my drawers functions like a radio case but doesn't take up as much space as a full radio case.

Nice vid as usual Jason,
Got a couple of those cases. One used for my m11 and one new waiting for the m12. LOL. Pretty solid cases, maybe not as durable as some of the radio Mfg. specific cases, but a fair amount cheaper. Plus, the universal case design with a variety of inserts is pretty cool.
One tip if you plan to keep your LiPo's in the case with your radio,
When you pluck out the foam blocks that the LiPo's can fit into, don't toss them. If you will be putting shorty packs in there, cut the foam block at about 1/3 and use it as a spacer for the shorty packs. They'll stick up out of the main foam insert a little bit, but you'll get them out easier. Full size packs fit fine without any issue.

As chr1s said above, just buy the insert and use one of your hauler bag drawers for the radio, I did this about a year and a half ago and never looked back.
