new medium arms in stock for the C-hub... i will be trying them this weekend.. to see how they handle. also.. Avidrc has a new shock tower for the C-hub.. that rick andring created.. and i was able to talk them into running a batch. go check it out.. it eliminates the need for the pill setup in the tower.. much easier to make roll center changes.

Just bought a 2018 XB8E and will need your help to get it going. Do I need the new front arms that just came out? I also have a Losi 8 3.0 E and had a lot of fun with it. I want to try something different and this should be perfect for that. The car has 7 races on it, so hopefully not to much work involved.

Not much...
2.0 front sway
2.2 rear sway
+2mm shock shafts

I have an extra Losi that has a Tekin motor and esc for it. Are the +2 shafts really necessary? Will be used for loose clay outdoors.

I installed the electronics and this car is fast. Hope to race in two weeks. The steering seems very quick, now I know why the pros just stick to 6 volts. I am using a 16 pinion for outdoor and hope this is right? I had to turn my battery on its side as the wires did not clear the top.

I need recommendations for the best ESC motor combo I can get for the Xray 2019 E-buggy? Large outdoor dirt track. No price limit. Thanks.

Was checking the car over and noticed the motor mount was loose! Yikes! The screws holding the T8 1900 had come loose, so I yanked the smaller screws out and put the 4mm screws in it. I had to rotate the end bell to line it up, but now it has the larger screws in it. I am ordering some better screws for it I found on ebay, 4 x 14 mm. These are 4 times larger and stronger (at least) than what I had in it, plus less chance of stripping. I am so glad this was found before going to the track!!!!!!

I noticed the right front upper arm was not extended enough to line up properly to get the right camber, so i took it apart and added a 1.5 mm thick washer to the stock one, to get the proper alignment. After adding the washer I disconnected the servo to make sure I did not bind anything, and made sure it was smooth as well. I should now be ready for an upcoming race in two weeks. I am still shook up from the loose motor mount issue.

1900 is pretty much standard around here. Take your pick tekin, hobbywing, maclan. I run an smc motor with tekin esc and it's been great for big outdoor tracks.
