I hope it drives better than my converted xb8. I put it together, drove it a bit and put it on the shelf.

Cool. I have a converted XB8 and could not be happier with it.
I'm curious to see if they come out with something really new or just use the existing XB9e parts(that's what i did).

I have to say I'm surprised they announce it so fast, glad I sold my XB9E not a long time ago, it would loose a lot of its resale value today 
Xray must have realised how many people converted their nitro XB8, they have never been much involved in the developpement of their 1/8 e-buggies so let's hope this one will be more "dedicated"

Yeah I know I raced all of them..(two 808E and a XB9E), that doesn't mean Xray released buggies with an advanced electric design. It doens't change their performances on the track but they should think more about details specific to electric like Tekno or Losi does. It's just my opinion.

I'm not up to date with xrays,but as a e-buggy what is better the xb9e or the new xb8e and why?
