Default "Bead Lock" SC8 tires are CA'd on the back side...Did I get burned?

I ordered my first pair of beadlocked tires ever, and they are for my SC8. The tires arrived tonight and I am confused. I thought beadlock meant the tire was mechanically held to the rim, no CA, and was re-usable easily without boiling or acetone.

But the back side of these tires is held on by CA glue (badly). The red beadlock on the front uses hex screws that do seem to be biting into something. But when I loosened them half way and tugged on the tire nothing came loose. I highly suspect I bought CA'd tires with a fake aluminum beadlock on it.

This is what I ordered, and I found it looking up the AE part number. One other thing, box said AE, California USA but then on the corner "Made in China".....I thought AE made everything US?http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The product that arrived looks identical to the pictures and AE's website.

The sc8 wheels are not true bead lock wheels , they are more of a bead guard . You still glue both the front and back . Ae doesn't make anything in the states anymore , they are owned by thundertiger now .

No car manufacturer makes anything in the states now. Everything is either Taiwan, China, or Japan. True beadlock wheels suck on any vehicle, except crawlers. The wheel speeds are too high and the rubber it too stretchy/flexible.

xfactory and proline are about the only car companies that manufacture in the USA.

DE racing and Lunsford and RPM and I think T-bonz still make their stuff in the USA.
