what weight of shock oil you guys run?
i have 35 front 40 rear. diff oil 7000 front 10000 center 3000 rear.

Many of the truggie racers in the area have experimented with strapping their tires with duct tape to stop them from ballooning so badly.
Turn the tire inside out and run a few layers of duct tape around the inside of the tire.

I would like to know if there is a reason why all MSR users use the standard boe tires? and not the 40 series? i mean the 40 series will stop the ballooning problem you have but there must be a reason why u all use the standards?

The taller tires help the truck go through the bumps much better and are a lot more forgiving.
Ballooning doesn't seem to cause too much of a problem.

ok fair enough, i see how that works....but wouldn't they body roll like hell around a corner, especially in a tight twisty track?
Im attending a PROLINE CHALLENGE soon and the track has huge jumps with tight corners . there is a straight but only 1, should i go for the standards? i think they have to much roll, but then again ive herd the 40 series are to skatey? i dont know what to go with.

None of the Pro Truggy drivers use the 40 series tires. They're all using the stock Crime Fighter tires now (the Bow-Ties used to be the standard).

Any of you getting frustrated with clutch springs?
Team Losi now offers a handy and economical clutch tool designed to make installing and removing clutch shoes and springs on big block engines easy. The Team Losi LOSA99168 Clutch Tool all but eliminates the pinched fingers and aggravation associated with working on the clutch shoes and springs of a .21 to .30 engine. This handy clutch tool has a pivoting arm with an extra long metal flap that holds the clutch shoe and retracts the spring for removal. The arm can also be flipped over to correctly position/push the shoe on while retracting the spring during installation. Ok thanx, im refering to Proline Challenge in Australia in late September.
I live in Australia and its in Sydney. So you think i should get myself a set of crimefighters? ive herd alot about those tires and that people are saying there the number one tire for monster trucks, but i just havent gone that step furhter to purhcase any. maybe i should? whats ur veiw on a crimefighter? and on a boe tire?

I don't race the Truggy class..but everyone went from running the Bow-Ties to the new tire, and they're going faster.

Just an FYI - The MSR is $269 at Tower and you can use a $30 code to make it $239. Not bad.

They're still very new...give it a couple weeks, Pro-Line should catch up with their orders soon enough.
