I didn't pay for fast shipping or anything and my T5m kit arrived from Tower earlier today. I leave town tomorrow morning so can't build it until the weekend... doh!
Basically if you're cool with AKA's you can get Chain Links with the good red CC foam included for ~$20 a pair.
Unfortunately at this time still, the JC Dirt Webs for truck (also ~$20 a pair) are still shipping with their blue foam, which will break down too fast. JC are switching them over to the grey Dirt Tech foams eventually. Sucks for now cause it basically means if you want to run Dirt Webs you're going to probably want to pay an additional ~$18 for the good red AKA CC foam to go in them.
Wheels seems to be ~$6 a pair.

Pinion gears for the t5 m
Getting back into truck what range would you recommend for a 13.5 brushless for off-road don't own any gears but 64 pitch and I will be running 13.5 or 17.5

Last weekend I finally took care of wore out 1/10 buggy tires. Cut the tires, pulled the foams, kept the decent foams, then soaked wheels in an acetone bucket for a couple hours. I think 22 pairs of rims and about 12 pairs of foams.
Same as we do with 8th scale but 10th electric racing is seasonal for us. So 1/10 tires take longer to pile up. I usually wait till I can fill a 2-gallon bucket with wheels/tires.

T5M build
Got my T5M all done i went ahead and just built it inline like my buggy since it works so well i figured i may as well run this the same way, it all went together great and all the parts were there...lol anyway here are a couple pictures, you don't have to cut into the waterfall there is enough room for the ECS i am going to start with the battery back ESC forward and see what happens we will see this Friday.

My ball cups were a bit tight, little squeeze with pliers and perfect, personally I'd rather they come a fraction tight than too loose and have slop.
You can always squeeze or ream ball cup or polish stud, but you can never add it back if it's too loose!

What brand of gears would you recommend?
