Default help spur gear stripping??on a truggy

4 races and spur gear stripped they were on a truggy 60t happened 2 times already
don't know what to do????

i ordered a metal spur gear 75t what size pinion do i need for it

What car? Seems a bit of a jump 60t to 75t. Usually there isn't such a big difference in spurs available on 1/8 truggies as it's mounting on the centre diff! Easiest thing is work out your FDR with the 60t spur and pinion setup and then work out what you need to match the new spur. Without the model name it's difficult to help!

If you were using a 20t pinion:
(60x20)÷75=16
If the 75t spur fits use a 16th pinion....

That math is way off. Using the same numbers it should be

75/(60/20)=25

When the spur goes up, so does the pinion, your math did the opposite...

Its a dex408t durango thats the only size they have in metal
