Because in almost every other sport in the entire world, the pinnacle season event is held at the end of the season. I bet there is a lot of tracks up north that are barely thawed out, if I remember correctly roar also represents Canada. All those folks may not have even had access to a usuable track for the last 5 months. How are they supposed to show up in top form? I also think now is a stupid time for this, but if I could I would love to go anyway!

It looks like a few heavy hitters will be at this race.

I'll put you down as a no for the Nascar Daytona 500. Just kidding, I tend to agree. Guess the super nationals they tried with everything together at the end of summer didn't work out. Probably trying to space everything out some, unfortunately something has to give.

Shaping up to be a great race. So far, Drake, Hartson, King, Lutz, Moller, Pettit, Phend, Tebo and Tessmann are signed up.

I will probably start with my nitro setup from last years Nitro Nationals held there. My setup is posted under nitro buggy on the TLR website.

Reality check. Do you think ROAR can hold 6 national championships in a month? That does not work for factory teams or the club racers. Those events were scheduled to not conflict with other large events as much as possible and to accomodate race management team (RMT) resources. They do not have an unlimited line of volunteers to help run these national events. We had two events at LCRC in PA, with back to back years. Take a look at the A-main guys, they are not going to change much. The west coast guys are on their game year round. The fast guys will always be fast no matter where, when or what they drive. The rest of us are there for a good time and to help with the costs of the event. Tessman is from Canada and Dakota from Michigan, snow has not made them any slower.

It depends how hot it is outside, if it's over 90° I usually run softs, but it's been pretty cool this year. SE would be your best bet.

About the sauce, it's a secret

Coming along nicely. I'll be there this weekend to help them finish up. I'll take some pics once the pipe is down.
