Hey guys I am new here and to the RC world. I have heard a lot of using shoo goo and tape on the inside of bodies. I used my Dromida as a test and I used the flex seal rubber spray from those as seen on tv ads and it has worked phenomenally and I am not sure if anyone here as tried it. I am trying it on my Stampede today and will update!

I was going to wait about five race and or practice days to open up a thread for this. I applied the rust oleum equivalent it flex seal on my pro line sct new body. So far this stuff is great. The body has held up great. I applied a heavy coat in the front and rear and a light code in the middle. I also resurrected a beat up body with shoe goo and dry wall tape and the rust oleum product. It does add weight, but I don't care.... I hate drilling holes and cutting bodies. My next body will not receive paint...only the rubber in a can product.....so far so good.... On one note though...if you have a crack already I think drywall tape and shoe goo will be better.... But the rubber in a can stuff appears to be a great preventive tool...time will tell.

Been using the clear & back liquid tape from harbor freight (same as plastic dip I believe) for 2yrs lol
I told a person or 2 about it locally but they "prefer to use shoogoo.."
I spray 2\3 coats in front corners of my onroad cars and I can pretty much make 10+- racedays with out any cracks in the fenders . It has only added minimal weight (10g ish) but I bake all my bodies at 170 for 15 minutes to save about 5g.
