Default The 1/8 e-buggy EMPTY and RTR weight thread

Please share the weight of your empty 1/8 e-buggy

= no electro, no tires, no body

Mugen MBX6 Eco US spec: 1900g
JQ THE Car Tekno V4: 1916g
Kyosho MP9E TKI: 1988g

...and your ready to race buggy (with everything included, please detail your electronics, body & tires)

Xray XB9E: 3535g

T8i motor, MMP esc + CC bec, 6S 3300mah zippy lipo, Hitec 7940TH servo, de racing mudguards & skidplates, M2C shock tower protection and chassis rubber protection, Jconcepts Finnisher body, Procircuit tires

I asked for both weights considering many don't want to empty their buggy just for this

sweet setup, do you run the pro4 hd on outdoor tracks also?

is the night fox big enough for larger 4S lipos (5000mah for axample)?

here is my mbx6 eco us spec, 3537g

tekin t8 1400kv
mmp esc + cc bec
6S 3300mah zippy lipos (equivalent to 4S 5000mah)
savox 1258TG servo
airtronics receiver
Jconcepts body (with tape)
procircuit wheels & tires

note that it is fully protected with de racing skidplates and adhesive rubber bands on all the chassis so a standard eco would be a bit lighter

Yes I run it on large outdoor, 40 sec lap time, night fox body just touches roar brick packs but not enough to flex the body.

I also used all alloy screws for everywhere except the lower suspension points and motor mount, that saved 90 grams!!!

interesting to hear you use it on large tracks too

I'm running a 1350kv T8i in 6S on my XB9E since the T8i is out and it's my favorite motor, suits my driving style perfectly

Hi hd nice to see you here!

for now I run it on small outdoor tracks, astro or clay

temps are 50°C at the end of a 15 minutes run, it's 5° more than with a T8 1400kv, so nothing major

but it's my favourite motor, no doubt about it (esc is a MMP) super smooth, perfect motor response in 6S
