Yea the truck was in rear motor when I bought it and I haven't switched it yet. I just picked up a used RT6 also in rear motor and I'm going to leave it that way first then may try mid motor later on.

Funny thing is I'm only 1/2 second off the fast guys (they race mid motor 22sct's) and I could pick that up by driving better.

So what would be the best piston/oil combination for the truck in rear motor on a loose and bumpy track? I see some setups that use the stock 5 hole pistons and I see some that have a combination of the 1.4 three hole and 1.6 two hole. Looking for opinions.

Are any of you using aluminum servo mounts? If you are which ones?

Can anyone tell me what the most common wheels used on this truck are?

I need some advice. I have decided to order an SC6 to race modified SC at our local tracks. Most of the tracks here are loamy, loose, and low bite with big jumps all over, so I will be running rear motor.

No one runs an SC6 here, so you guys are all of the help I have!!!!

I need to know what option/upgrades/aftermarket/spare parts I should get and try out. I am having lots of trouble figuring out what SCR or RB6 parts will fit. If you could list links or P/N's it would be a great help.

Help me spend my money. Budget wide open. I already have electronics taken care of.

I promise to take pics, give updates.

Thanks in advance.

The must haves are:
• Diggity design front shock tower http://www.diggitydesigns.com/Kyosho...wer_4Hole.html
• Front inner rear hinge pin holder http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/kyosho-...umw705/p264129
• Rear inner rear hinge pin holder http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/kyosho-...umw706/p264131
• Rear alum hubs http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/kyosho-...w704-0/p261904
• Front axle http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/kyosho-...oum569/p219102
• DO NOT run the stock ball studs in the rear alum hubs. They will shear off flush and it will require a machinist to get them out. I prefer these http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/team-as...c91048/p203849 using these ball cups http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/team-as...c91453/p275225 The cups might be tight but just pinch them with pliers until they free up. Another option is Lundsford ball studs that will work with the stock cups

Nice upgrades but not required
• Alum shock caps http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/kyosho-...oum719/p236973 The main thing is DO NOT over tighten these or the stock onesor they will leak
• Alum front bulkhead http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/exotek-...o1283r/p441058. I also run a rear aluminum bulkhead but I’m setup MM and not sure if they make one for RM

The only thing I have broken is the front skid plate http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/kyosho-...um602b/p437553

A lot of people here seem to run MIP Pucks. Are they needed?

I went ahead and purchased a slightly used well built mid motor SC6 today and am super stoked! Any RB6 parts interchangeable, mainly the diff??? So the Slash 4x4 rear wheels are the way to go, is that for front and rear of the SC6? Off to search for setup sheets for my local track, OCRC!

@ crowbar, I ran the MIP puck setup on my SCTE 2.0 and loved it. When my outdrives wear and I need diff service I think I will go that rout as well here...

So is this not the correct wheel for the truck? I already ordered another set of AKA's that specifically say the Ultima SC6 and Traxxas. Let me know if the Pro-Line's are not correct.

I somewhat figured it out and yes those will work, although they seem a bit heavier with the metal lock ring. I am looking at a more practical wheel for track.

I run the Slash 4x4 wheels on the front and rear of my SC6. They work great!

The Pro-Line Bead Lock Wheels are heavy and will slow you down due to the extra rotational mass. The correct offset for the SC6 is the Slash 4x4 wheels.
