My setup is close to Tebo's except for the shock oil and pistons. My truck weighs in at about 2098g. I am not sure how much his truck weighs.

Front
Pistons: 3x1.4mm
Oil: AE 35wt
Spring: Orange
Length: 27mm
Ball End: Short

Rear
Pistons: 3x1.4mm
Oil: AE 30wt
Spring: Red
Length: 34mm
Ball End: Short

I am tempted to try 37.5wt in the front and 32.5wt in the rear as I want to stiffen things up a bit. The layout is in a state of change at my local track so I might keep it as is. It is challenging to discuss setup changes with others at the track. I am the only one that has an SC6. Most people in Pro2 run AE or Losi.

I find it hard to obtain info on Kyosho springs and different wheel offsets. Thought I would share what I've found so far. I've ordered some different springs and will update the chart when I measure them. At least we can compare some spring rates to other brands.

Bartman42 -

Great document! Looking forward to any updates on it.

I found that Slash 4x4 wheels are the perfect offset for front and rear when measured against ROAR rules. However, I am also using RB6 front axles in the front.

That's the one thing I hate about the truck. If you run 4x4 sc you have to have 2 sets of tires , can't share between them. And I have like 15 sets of sc10 +3offset.

Totally agree! I wish I could switch out tires between my SC10B and the SC6. More tire combinations to experiment with and easier on the wallet.

I have run SC10 wheels on my truck since I got it when they came out. I have little spacers on the axles which allow me to make it wider if I need more stability. But I always like my vehicles to be a little more aggressive than most people.

For those who are running rear motor. Do you put the wires through the shock tower? I am about to put my new motor in and even though I haven't broken a rear shock tower was only thinking that if I happen to break one while racing I would have to take my soldering iron to the track which I normally don't do to disconnect the motor and esc - Note: I don't want to run bullet connections from motor to esc.

I always wire my motor/esc wiring so it can be removed without having to unsolder the wires. As you mention in case you break something, or you need to check the motor or service he tranny, it makes it easier. I just use tie wraps to hold the wires in place.

I think I found my problem. The plastic pivot balls in the shock rod ends were tight. I could unhook the top of the shock and the shock would not pivot freely. The pivot ball was also very tight on the screw. I'm pretty sure as the arms went up and down it slowly back out the screw. Let alone it was binding the suspension. I replaced with a different brand rod end with steel pivot ball. I'll find out this weekend if that was the cause..
