Here you can see +3 fit a little funny in the rear

Was supposed to be a pic attached. I have do it in a few. AT&T can't handle it.

Yes the DE wheels are the Slash offset.

After the races I puton a set of slash offset holeshots. And I guess everyone has there opinions but to me the truck turned the same etc. only thing is it's felt like more "free" or somthing. Like it was softer or the suspension moved better, like more plush. I guess the offset could change pivot points ? Not night and day, but I'll be switching to all slash offset now .

So in other words all my losi/tekno SC rims will not work very well? haha

yepp it sucks if you run both classes.. was the bigest issue for me before i got mine. but theres only one track in my area that has regular 4wd turn out and i maybe would race there 3 time a year if i had a 4wd..so i went with it

wait that picture above is the kyosho with the losi style 3 offset? So they do work?

But Slash Rears are what work best on front and rear of SC6?

AlanHall 10-09-2014 01:34 PM

those are AE +3 off set. so in the middle of scte and slash

yeah, again they're to narrow. Why I just made the change and sold off the sc10 lot I had

that rb6 body is interesting though.

Looks like the sweep body.

AlanHall 10-09-2014 07:41 PM

yepp. Sweep muzzle . The +3 seemed to drive good. We have low traction here. But like I was sayings before I didint notice a ton on handling or corners . Just seemed more plus. Almost like the truck was more squishy lol. I can't describe it. Makes be feel like with the other offset or was effecting how the arms move.

And I'm trying to move my +3 lot with zero interest

Sorry short course is my fun class not my serious racing class so when you say +3, how is that different than my scte style wheels? Sorry for dumb question just have like 15 sets of scte and if the sc6 can't run them then I guess I'll have to wait for the losi sct22 2.0

KalEl63 10-10-2014 01:53 AM

I now have finished my ally upgrades on the truck.
I put the shock caps on. Upgraded the front pivot block to the 10g one UMW723 (which is only 6g heavier than the plastic one) and put some V2 rear hubs on.

The front pivot block is now for me personally a must upgrade due to my driving  but if you are a good driver the plastic is fine.
The same upgrades will be going on the RT6, well that it the caps and pivot block as it already has the rear hubs.

Basically where the hex is in relation to the outside of the wheel. Scte offset has the hex farther to the outside so when on the truck they would tuck under the body farther.

So if I were to run my Losi scte wheels I would essentially have a shorter wheel base side to side? And you ran them and didnt notice a huge difference?

I have the 0 degree hubs the V2 are the ones that have the plastic bearing in inserts for the different size bearings.
I like them as you have the 4 holes on them so you don’t have to change out rear hubs from type B to Type-B2 to get the four hole tune-ability.

I forgot to weight one though to see the weight difference as I am going to race stock in my RB6 and I’m wanting/thinking of putting them on it too for the tuning option it provides.
