That's the same fluid setup I put in it with kyosho positions, With stock spring and the digity tower

I have the optional brass front block on my SC6 and decided to try it on my SCR. When I went to install it I found the SCR block/brace was about 1mm wider. I know Kyosho makes several different blocks (type C, type B, etc) but I don't know what the differences are. Maybe Kyosho narrowed the blocks on the SC6 because the track/width was right at the ROAR limit using stock wheels? Anybody have any info on what the differences are between the type C and B blocks?

Block/brace off my SCR on top, Block/brace off my SC6 on the bottom.

I think you have the info already. Type "C" is wider than Type "B" the Type "C"is from the RB5WC

Hey thanks for the feedback, but why would they make a different block that is only 1mm wider? It has to cost $$$$$ to make a separate injection mold just for the RB5WC. You would think they would want to use as many of the same parts as possible across the line to save money. Just wondering if the different blocks are used as tuning options, and if so what part of the handling does it impact?

Ok not that I don't trust what people have been saying about the front shock tower but I decided before I spent $35 I'd make one myself by butchering an RB6 front shock tower.

So I put it on the track for some test laps and straight up I could feel the difference and with the narrow rear track the truck felt really good.
The proof will be come race day but I'll be ordering a front tower I know that much :D

Thank you to all that put suggestions up.

Anyone find anything that works with Mid Motor on low/med bite? Or should I just go RM. Trying to decide before I build the kit. Thanks!

You running Mod or Stock? Last week I ran my rear motor SCR and mid motor SC6 and the SCR performed much better on the current layout. The mid motor ran better on the previous layout that had a lot of big sweepers, the current layout doesn't have any sweepers and a lot of tight 180's so the rear motor rotates better. I ran both in the stock class, but this week I added a mod motor to my SC6 (mid motor) to test out.

Mod! I'll probably just go RM, play it safe. Thank you sir.

Had a club race meeting with the SC6 and the mod front shock tower and I am sold so time to order one :D
I did also adjust my oils down on all 4 corners by 2.5WT and I am now running 3mm under the rear inner ball stud.
(Now running 37.5WT F & 27.5WT R)

the car felt awesome and I could put down some very quick laps but silly mistakes cost me.
I did find the car was acting a little strange in the last final and discovered when I got home and did the clean up the plastic shock cap is leaking bad so time to get some metal ones

Ran my for the first time yesterday to. 1st time I raced in a good 7 month probably. Very lose track ,and once I got the power curve ad gearing right the truck was great. Ran the Cody turner rear setup with 4x1.3s 35/30 fluid and battery all the back on the tower . With the digity tower on the far outside holes. Blew every qualifier. But won the main by about 15 seconds . Truck is great. Never had a short course jump so perfect. . Perfect for a bad driver like me. Just gas it and it flys . Same issue with stock caps dumping fluid too

What was your original fluid before going to 37.5/27.5
