I posted an issue with the bearings. My guess is my dusty track is not suited for the stock bearings. If you run on in a low dust track you should be fine. I am now using the Bocca green seals ($38 for all the rears) and have not had any more issues.

Has anyone seen a setup for this truck on a loose 8th scale outdoor track? The base setup I found looks to be for a indoor high bite track.
Thanks

Has anyone upgraded to the steel idle gear? A second Serpent SCT at my local track just had their stock idle gear disintegrate after 4 race days on it.

Mine actually came with a steel idler gear, on day 1 I ripped my diff gear apart! My slipper was too tight to be honest though.

So what tires are you using for dusty tracks? I'm currently using Panther raptors soft front/ super soft rear.

Not sure if you're on FB but there was a big post on this over the weekend. The SC kits are supposed to come with steel. If yours came with plastic, they'll give you a steel one.

Well got about 50 packs through this truck and no broken parts. Very happy with it so far. Front sway bar made a big difference. I would highly recommend it if you havnt tried one yet.

Stick your 2.0 hex wrench in and you can adjust it without removing anything. Just need to line it up right.

If you insert a 2.0 wrench or small flat head in the slot of the out drive you can turn the opposite wheel to tighten or loosen the diff.
