I know on my rear motor buggy i preferred the esc behind the lipo and it seemed quite a few people did as well. Maybe this is why the SC was designed this way.

I managed to get one shipped today from stormer hobbies. They only showed one on hand when I checked out. Still have one on preorder with amain. According to amain chat they do not have any eta for stock.

Does anyone know if the body mount posts are the same as the 22sct? Wondering if I can use the same pro-line body mount kit with the screw caps. Love that set up.

I put mine on the shelf to save time- my old SC used a shelf and the motor wires only needed to be shortened rather than completely redone. I started building it Wednesday night and had it done before I went to sleep, so any time savings was good... That said, I preferred the shelf on my old truck and this one felt pretty good first time out. TQ, win, and hotlap on it's first night, not bad at all.

Heres the first question guys, im goin to put my savox 1256 servo in and on the front end , it tells you how many spacers to put in for each brand servo but not a savox servo brand,

anyone know if it the same as some other brands so i can pack it out correctly?? cheers

I built a few MM cars with that servo but I don't recall how many spacers were used... You want the servo just far forward enough so that the horn clears the post on the right of the chassis where the top plate screws in.

My truck is coming along nicely, spent some time at the track with it today. The front end seems to need a sway bar, I've gone as high as a 4.1lb Losi spring and it still sporadically wants to hook mid corner- particularly in our track's sweeper. And the firmer spring made it much more reactive on entry, something I don't feel it needs.. A sway bar and front spring closer to stock is what I'm thinking will be dialed.

For now I'm not planning on a rear sway bar. I've rarely used one in the past, extreme high bite only. The rear end does roll a bit more than I'd like, but its only when the front end rolls over on the outside front tire. I think keeping the front flatter will eliminate that though. It does everything else well though- jumping is plush, in air control is smooth, it slides nicely if you want it to, and lays down power well. Definitely the best SC I've had out of the box, and I'm expecting it to be much better with the front sway bar.

I've been out of the RC world for about 15 years. I've visited the local track here in Chicago and am interested in getting back in and think the SCT class would be a good place to get my feet wet again.

I've been debating getting this kit vs. a SC10RS RTR. Is this kit difficult to build for someone who's been on the sidelines for a while?

I watched a video on youtube on it and it looks like eveything is form fitted. Straight foward design. You got the front, mid, and rear. You may want to take a look at team durango's desc210 rtr, if you want it in an instant. Ebay has a blue one forsale buy now $349.99
