Does anyone know why Tamiya would release such an awesome buggy and then make it virtually impossible to find the kit for sale anywhere in the world and make spare parts even harder to find. Does anyone no where i can find a brand new trf503 in stock and also ships to Australia this is ridiculous

Why have these cars all but become extinct? I really like mine. I am worried about parts.
Now that I have replaced the ball studs with the better Tamiya ones, installed the aluminum rear hubs this car is awesome. Love it.

You can already fit a shorty on a 503....

I'm guessing the next car will have a white composite chassis, like the 2wd!

Does anybody have a new wing mount that you could sell or a link to one for sale?

What setup station is that you are using in the pics ^^^^ Dave? I've been thinking about getting one. Been trying to go without, but I'm too ADD and can't stop playing with the turnbuckles.

Your not wrong i have been searching for 2 months now to find a kit at a reasonable price and finally i think i bought the last reasonably priced kit in the world, it was alot more expensive than the normal retail price but sometimes you have to bite the bullet to get the kit you want, mine cost me $565US and a $100 shipping and now theirs only 2 left in south Korea for ridiculous stupid prices $1300, as for parts the good thing about this buggy is it rarely breaks anything from what i have seen on my other TRF503 that i have been racing for months, i haven't broken a single part, and things like belts which do tend to break are easy to find on ebay, other than that i cant see you breaking anything that isn't really easy to find, there are lots of parts that you will not find but they are things you will never have to replace cause they are bullet proof.
