Running middle position "down" on the hub. No washers on the back ballstud. I wouldnt consider my track high bite at all, and 2mm trailing with 1mm ackerman eliminated the push I had, drove great and had tons of steering.

On the topic of setup, I cant get my head around ackerman. What the manual says compared to what Hudy says seems to be opposite. Unless I'm reading it wrong...
The manual says if u remove washers, the steering is less aggressive. Hudy says, if u do that, it quickens steering and car reacts faster, which I interpret as more aggressive?

All the bearing issues have me a bit nervous. I have noticed that the bearings that are exposed appear to be wet like they are leaking. Is this normal?

That's what I figure, but it's doing it to several bearings. I don't remember my B4.2 and T4.2 doing that.
On another note, anyone from AE care to chime in and share when we can expect spare parts for our cars to be available? Id rather not park my car if something breaks...

It is pretty darn aggressive at 2mm. Serious. Some of us who did this change went back to 4mm. I still have it on my car and am not sure if I'm going to keep it, go to 3, or back to 4. Right now, my car is poop for high traction, but on a drier track with low traction, 2mm felt great.
Honestly, I think it's a "as conditions permit" thing. With traction, it's a hand full. With low traction, it's a God send. It reminded me a lot of caster and ackerman changes, except noticeably more extreme. A 2mm decrease in trailing axle is probably a good 2-3x difference that a 5 degree change in caster would produce. It's a pretty big hammer.

Why would AE call out the fact that the new shafts are 3mm in their write up as far as new features.
Everyone grab their calipers, because aside from what the digital read out is, when I lock em down on the 4.2's and SC10.2 shafts and move right over to my B5 they don't come close to sliding over the shaft.
