Where is that available? Or what do I even search? I would totally try that!

Also, does anybody know if the MIP B4 aluminum top shaft will work? I've been trying to compare mine with the pictures of the new Associated aluminum top shaft and I see a couple differences that look like integrated spacers, but I'm not really sure.

Flatwireready.com. Its used for hiding speaker wire in walls.

The MIP B4 Shaft will not work. This is a metric car and the b4 used the 3/16x3/8 bearings. You'd have better luck fitting a Kyosho RB6 top shaft with 5x12x4 bearings (which I am just speculating at, so no factual evidence this will actually work) or better yet, just get the AE B5 top shaft.

Default maiden voyage good

Maiden voyage today. Been busy lately and haven't driven any RC cars since last year. Haven't driven a two wheeler in about a year. This car feels way more connected then what I remember with my old 22. There were some kids with SCTs that arrived after school. I suppose it maybe that school is letting out for Spring Break. So the kids were all over the place. I had several collisions, including one with a parked SCT on the straight. I am running an 8.5 and was full wood. No issues to report. Very satisfied with durability of this car. Looking at race results online, I'm about 1sec off Amain times, but feel confident I will find a bit more speed with track time. Layout is pretty flowing, bumpy and no huge jumps. I currently have 2-1.6s installed but think they pack too much for the bumpy conditions. What is a good bumpy track setup? Traction is medium bite.

Built my kit tonight, took longer than expected.

In typical AE form, the 3 hole rear camber link option had no threads.

Ya I have the Proline body on order. I hope it is thicker than the stock body. mine has split on the side under the window.

If this has been asked and answered already sorry.

My son and I each got a B5 last Saturday, we both run 17.5 at our track. While building the VTS slipper the slipper housing would not fit in the 72 tooth spur that came with the kit. Both kits have this issue, I had to buy 69 tooth spurs as a replacement of the 72 tooth.

Anyone else have this issue?

72 t came in the mid? Well mine did. and i almost had to stand on it to get it on the gear but it did go. But the 69 that came with my b5r fit very nice. both worked. and spin true.

I had a similar problem with a 78t spur I already had, and the slipper housing would not fit. Had to use the included 81t, and it fit perfect.
