The B5 is very plush on landings and does not normally slap and spin with 1.6 pistons all the way around.
He should also check for ball up binding. I know I had issues where it was so tight the servo was not always coming back to dress center causing all kinda mess.

lol, yeah. Making sure your suspension is free should be a given. I had a double into a left handed turn this weekend. If you over jumped and turned your wheels into the jump, you spun out. I have often found that if you spin out on the landing, you did it wrong. But yeah, always make sure nothing is binding. Because if it is, your setup is worthless.

D is at the Back of the car, C is in front of the transmission. Put brass on both will add a lot of weight in the rear of the car. Traction should go up and probably more pendulum with the Brass D mount

D, because the weight is on the back of the car. Some guys only run the C brass because it puts the weight where they feel is "ideal".

he made a typo

AE uses the following setup on their 8th scale and the terminology carried over. A and B are the front of the car. C and D the rear. So if the car was sitting on the table pointing away from you, and you were looking down at it, it would be like this:
front of car
A
B

C
D
back of car

There's no 'B' on the 2wd cars. But the front brace is still referred to as the A mount.

I know this is me being lazy but can someone upload a setup sheet with the latest standard setup. I keep hearing using different arms and such. It would be greatly appreciated. In the mean time I will try and dig through the thread and get one filled out. I am an engineer I don't like to read just see pictures. ;-)

Talking Suspension Binding

Has any suffured from the Front End of the car binding towards the bottom the suspension as your compressing it?

I noticed it with mine yesterday at the track. AS the car set on the bench, pressed the front end down and when it almost hit the bench i noticed the suspension binding. (Like it was progressivly stiffer)

I took the shocks off and made sure there was no air in them and bleeded correctly.

I did this to some of the other associated cars and they all did the same thing!

However the Losi 22, Serpent, and Kyosho cars didn't do this.

Thoughts woudl be appreciated.

Talking

I will double check those things..

I am wondering if it's engineered in the design of the car? I as have checked this on multiple B5M's and they all did the same thing.

Interesting... IF any tries it on there's please post if they have the same issue.
