I use the RPM toe-in gauge, with practice it's easy to use ...and cheap.

Earlier this year I looked in a NIB RC8B I had to upgrade to RC8.2 and B44.2 to B44.3 and not worth it at all. Parts add up to usually about a new kit price. |

Can anybody I.D. this spur\slipper? Came with a roller I bought. I'll need a smaller spur for 17.5 but I'd this format is going to be rare, I may swap to the stock pads.

Isn't that the stock V2 vented stuff? I swapped mine out for a schelle losi top shaft. It's lighter and has a smaller spring/nut. Also use a 72T losi spur and pads

I ran the AE VTS slipper briefly and then I picked up the RD VTS slipper. I looked at the Schelle and Avid but, it looked like you had to use their proprietary spur gears. I have the b5m, t5m and sc5m and already had a stock pile of AE spur gears in a variety of sized. So, I put the RD in my stock 17.5 b5m. I was pretty happy with it so, I picked up another one and about to put it in my sc5m mod sct. I run my 17.5 b5m with 69/33 and my stock t5m had 72/32. The t5m has the AE VTS slipper and seems to do just fine as well.

Question from a newbie. Picked up a B5M and need wheels and tires. Gonna ask at the local track to find out where to start on tire but whats up with the wheels? I see the tires only say 2.2 but I see wheels 2.2 and 2.4. Why 2 different sizes and what difference does it make?

Last night I replaced all the bearings, arms, rebuilt shocks with the x ring kit, rebuilt my diff and slipper, and threw a few new bling parts on as well as sprayed a new body (poorly) and cleaned up my wiring and added a fresh v10 10.5 motor. She's still got one more season in her before I replace her.

I have a B5M FL that I was going to run mod with. A friend of mine is going to run on a smallish/medium carpet track that runs only 17.5 class and I'm now going to do that with him instead. Getting either a Schuurspeed or Fantom motor. Anyone kind enough to suggest a ballpark pinion/spur to start with? Greatly appreciate any suggestions.
