Was there last night. Yokomo, and B5M both were really good after some changes. Getting close to high 15's in stock buggy. Both buggies are pretty much neck and neck, but I give the overall steering feel to the Yokomo.

I suppose if I stick to the Spurs you recommend I'll work it out pretty quickly. Thanks.
Petit rc has an fdr chart under their b5 setup page you can print. It doesn't specifically say if they fit or not but at least the math is done.

Yeah. I have debated trying a yz2 at srs. But after my bmax4 experience. I will avoid yokomo. Maybe ae will release a b5m euro spec turf car

When you have to add weight to a car to get grip at SRS, then you know it's not made for dirt.

For those using the X-factory chassis, have you made any changes in lowering shock oil and/or softer springs to compensate for the significant drop in overall car weight?

I use a shorty servo. I just pulled the little dust out and trimmed it to make the angle. Been running fine for a year now.

Yea the 6240 doesn't work. All the new spektrum servos have the replaceable wire that is so thick at the joint, it doesn't bend. Not sure if any of the new ones fit. The s6040 was the popular spektrum servo to use in the buggy.

I'd look at savox servos. I've never used one, always ran spektrum, but my next servo will be a savox black edition. Never used savox for the sole reason of the ugly orange aluminum. Now they have the same servos with black aluminum.

I run a 300+ gram battery instead. As a 17.5 driver, it's important to keep your weight in your MAH, to maintain a voltage advantage. With the rear-inner brass hingpin holder, and the full sized pack, I come in right around 1570 with a normal 4gear B5m. Just where I want to be.

Thanks for the reply. I run Mod with the current Brent Thielke club racing setup, which I like for our large tacky/semi-tacky track. I'll give a few setups a try with the lighter chassis and report back. If anyone else is running mod with the x-factory chassis and has thoughts, I'd love to hear them. thanks

I run the xfactory chassis with 27.5 wt oil front and 25 wt rear green springs all the way around it works great

Currently building a FL. Issue with the rear cvs---can't get the pin thru. Anyone else have similar issues? Seems like the holes aren't right in the "cage" on the stub axle side. Tried forcing it with pliers, but it bound up.
