Reedy 8.0 is very good.

This is completely subjective to what kind of power you can finger, and how much speed your track and traction can tolerate. Anywhere between a 17.5 and a 7.5. I don't know anybody running anything faster then that. I think 8.0s and 8.5s are the most popular in mod.
I know a guy who runs a 5.5 lol it's ridiculous

Trinity 7.5 in mine half way down straight i can hammer it and drag the wing lol. I think it has more punch than the 6.5 orion in my 4wd buggy
I actually use a reedy 7.0! It's actually smoother than the 7.5! Very happy with it. The 7.5 was really torq-y. The 7.0 smoothed it out a lot!

Looking to convert over to a mid from the b5. I wanna run the flat fronts and rear arms. What else do I need for the conversion. Hoping to not have to buy the whole conversion and holding out for the mip 3 gear..

well, lets discuss. you will need the suspension holders, but if you dont want the conversion kit, just get the alum holders. you will need the rear tower, chassis, cradle, front clip, wing mount, battery strap (many to choose from), chassis brace and misc screws. mostly a bunch of 3x6 and 3x8mm stuff.
MIP still hasn't given a solid date on their 3 gear last I checked. (2 weeks ago).

I was told that they pulled it. Unless they can find a way to make theirs much better than AE's, they have dropped the project for now.

Has anyone tried running the stock shock pistons 1.5 front and 1.6 rear? I didn't have time to get the machined pistons I needed and was curious if that would be better then the standard manual setup 1.6/1.7.. I run a indoor clay. High traction and 35/30 shock oil
Didn't try the 1.5 front, but I'm happily running 1.6 rear (and front btw.) with 32.5 (37.5 front) on high grip like astro or even carpet. Going from the 1.7 to 1.6 helped with landing bigger jumps on the hard surface.
